hey you guys welcome back to another video today we're sitting in my 2006 Ford f-150 today I'm going to be programming a new remote to this truck I have only one set of keys when I bought this truck so I want to have another remote just in case I locked myself out we're gonna be programming this new remote which is actually very simple and not too complicated before you do anything here's a few notes your door doesn't need to be open and the doors need to be unlocked obviously now if you are adding the remotes you need to actually reprogram both of these because if you don't do it one of the original one won't work anymore so once you program it it'll only remember the new one that makes any sense hit the button on both of them when you're programming which is not very hard because they give you a pretty good window of 20 seconds so I think up to six remotes or something like that but i
