welcome to mybinding comm this is the exacto model mm black smoke electric pencil sharpener insert a stainless eyes wood pencil and it will sharpen it nicely to a point the receptacle tray can be emptied easily from time to time in the trash and it is decently sized the power cord is about 5 feet long which is pretty steamed and the bottom pads keep the sharpener from scratching up your desk or table but it doesn't grip very well it's recommended to still brace the unit with one hand while sharpening it prevents over sharpening and is great for personal offices for its size and power the sharpener is a nice middle ground even though it is actually one of the cheapest it also comes with a 2 year warranty you
