Start by ordering a screen from www.laptopscreens.com REMOVE THE BATTERY (I forgot to do this til
later) This specific Acer TimelineX screen has no
screws holding the bezel on Gently pry the top of the bezel off using
fingers on inside Use a medium sized phillips (*star) screwdriver
to detach the LCD screen from the backplate Start at the bottom and hold the backplate
(or open the screen all the way to the table) while removing the last top screws Detach the webcam and microphone from pegs
on backplate by removing the tape and unpegging them (Taking the battery out because I forgot to
do it at the start) Untape the webcam and mic wires from back
of LCD Gently remove tape around LCD video connection,
being careful not to bend anything. The video connection is a male-female type
connection (the plug inserts into the screen) from the bottom-up Unscrew old LCD from frame Keep 4 short side s
