so what we see here is uh head unit in a mazda protege 2000 mazda protege with an external microphone installed so what i did was buy this cheap microphone cost me four dollars on ebay and then on the back you can see the left two cables were marked mike minus and minus and mic plus so i took this black cable and the connector i cut it before the end and then there were two cables a small interior red cable and another sort of more on the exterior cable and what you can see over here the yellow one i just basically took this connector it came in with a whole bunch of av connections and i picked them all out and then i connected the yellow and the blue to mic plus and mic minus accordingly and this microphone i'm going to thread it here through the back up the side and over here on top and that and that's it that's how you a lot of these new android units you can simply install an extern
