so now that i have a new project open i'm going to go over and click images and i'm going to search for butterfly this yellow butterfly is the one that i'll be using i'll list the image number in the description below so i'm going to insert this image right away i'm going to size it i'm going to click the width 2.5 this is the size i used to add these butterflies onto a starbucks cup you might want to just cut one to see if it's the size you like i did a few sizes bigger and smaller i'm going to duplicate it and i'm going to make this one black which will be the top layer and now i'm going to click the yellow one and i'm going to hit contour then i'm going to hide all contours click out now i've created my two layers and they are both the exact same size now i'm going to make my own registration marks this is optional it's just going to help me layer them you can use any shape you want
