hi this is Leland with Yamaha commercial audio when new users are setting up a Dante network one of their most frequent questions is how do I configure my word clock let's take a look now that we've installed our Dante cards in the back of our console and we've connected our ethernet cables to the cards the switch in our computer we're ready to check our word clock settings on our m7 CL let's start off by touching on the icon that says set up next we'll touch on the icon that says word o'clock slot setup on this page you'll view the current word clock settings for the board as well as any other options that are available currently we are clocking off the internal clock we also have the option of clocking off of an external clock through our word clock input or from the Dante cards through the slot input if you choose to clock off either the internal clock or an external word clock input
