[Music] hello girls and guys i am vania grueger also known as neptune and in this video i will present to you my new personal double bass stamina record which is probably also an sort of inofficial world record and that is playing 16th notes on double bass at 240 bpm for 10 minutes straight enjoy before we start let me quickly explain why i'm doing this well of course there is probably no song out there that requires you to play 10 minutes at this speed on double bass but practicing this way also helps me to develop my speed my control and having a very good stamina really helps with well it's just that everything feels more easy to do on double bass so this is the main reason why i'm doing this and also i think it is just human nature to kind of explore the limits and to try to go over them to see what is beyond the horizon and this is what i like to do with my drumming when i started
