1) The history of nasal cleansing began as an ancient Ayurvedic technique in ancient India many centuries ago.
2) The practice of using a Neti Pot for nasal cleansing is called Jala-Neti, which literally means to cleanse the nose with water. it is still commonly practised throughout India.
3) In modern times, saline nasal irrigation has become widely accepted as a home remedy to relieve conditions such as allergies, colds and mild sinus infections.

5) How to use: Add a quarter of a teaspoon of sea salt into the pot and add water (lukewarm/body temperature) and insert the tip into your nostril, tilt the head sideways and rinse first one nostril and than the other.
