hi I'm Eric Pratt from US broadcast distribution and today we're going to talk about the yuan carts and an external enclosure environment so what we have here is we have a high point external Thunderbolt enclosure and we have put one of the two channel 4k cards inside and we've connected it to a sony a7s which we've set to output 3840 by 2160 P 24 P so we've connected that up by HDMI and then we have a Thunderbolt cable connecting the laptop and then a loop through Thunderbolt connecting on to the next device and a power cable so let's take a look at what needs to be done in v-max in order to import this this input so the first thing that we need to do is we need to go into V mix and click on settings and make sure that V mix is set to 4k obviously only the V mix 4k and pro versions do this so you'd want to make sure that you have one of those two versions to do this so the output size
