hey guys welcome back to the channel so i got one of these temco hammer lug crimpers and i need to use it on some one knot ring terminals here judging by the numbers on here goes from 8 gauge to 3 ought and this side shows 6 gauge to 4 oz cable so it should work for my purpose i got some one gauge automotive cable here and it is bigger than the one i used before for my welding leads but we're going to go ahead and slide a piece of string tube down here first we're gonna go about maybe three quarters inch here about right there now this razor blade is not really uh sharp it's seen better days and this cable has a double jacket so kind of tough to cut right through it there we go there we go all the strands went in there perfectly now we're going to get our crimping unit here and we should be sad i think there's like a two and a half or three pound hammer we're gonna get a good whack here
