[Music] hi my name is Devin thermography here with tea equipment today we're gonna talk a little bit about how FLIR MSX technology works I've got my trusty 95 here and a nice panel behind me show a little bit a little bit of the heat just as a demonstration so what MSX is for FLIR is multi spectrum enhancement really all that means is that FLIR takes the visual details from a picture and superimposes them on top of a thermal image so that can be really useful for a lot a lot of different reasons whenever you take a thermal image sometimes you're just not sure what it is when you go back to look at it for your reports so if you have some visual details as well say on this breaker panel where I've got markings for say at the top there are HVAC breaker if those details were on the thermal image to begin with I wouldn't need to second-guess myself when I write my report [Music] now let's se
