Note: The following video depicts a specific configuration of the notebook. The same removal and replacement procedures apply to all configurations of the notebook. Before you begin: Remove the bottom cover. Removal: Loosen the seven captive P1 Phillips-head screws that secure the battery to the notebook. Using the tab on the top edge of the battery, lift the battery out of the cradle on the notebook and remove. Replacement: Place the battery into its cradle on the notebook. Tighten the seven captive P1 Phillips-head screws that secure the battery to the notebook.
