today we're moving the stereo out of a Pontiac Grand Am with our pry bar we're going to start at the bottom right corner of the front dash panel and move around this panel releasing the clips when you reach the ignition switch the trim ring will pop right off of the dash you'll be able to replace this once the trim panel is reinstalled we're going to pull this panel forward and at the top we're going to locate the connector at the emergency flasher switch this connector has a little trigger that you push down to release the connector we're going to set the parking brake shift to a lower gear and pull this panel from the dash and towards the floor on the passenger side we're not going to disconnect the bottom connectors this will give us access to two mounting screws on the left side of the car stereo one mounting screw on the right side of the car stereo pull the car stereo from the - g
