in today's video I'm reviewing a 2001 Ford Expedition this is the first generation model of the Ford Expedition introduced to market in 1997 seen a minor refresh in 1999 and running through the 2002 model year the expedition is now on its fourth generation and the full-size SUV segment has transformed significantly since the expedition came to market back in 1997 at that time the only competition within this segment came from the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban and the GMC Yukon in suburban the Ford Expedition is based off the f-150 pickup and with that you'll see that the design is very similar as well as many of the mechanical components and powertrain of course the f-150 pickup has been the best-selling full-size pickup in the US for many years and so they're starting with a really great template in the expedition does come together very nicely it's a very attractive SUV although you'll see
