12V to 24V Voltage Regulator Power Buck Module DC-DC Converter Step up Power 10A 240W

I just got this new toy for a friend of mine it's a project I'm doing for him but I thought you might be interested in it it is a as you can read here DC DC converter the input is 12 volts ranges like 9 to 20 output is 24 volts 5 amps at least in theory at 5 amps of course that means the input would have to be 10 amps so that's significant there's no free lunch there okay and then here's the input and output so let's hook it up and see if it really works well I've got everything connected and set up so let's take a look here we are with the input power set at 9 volts and the output is showing a little bit left over from an earlier test yeah if I click this on here this immediately goes up to 24 volts that's pretty good that it can deal with such a low voltage and convert it let's see what happens is I increase it 9 10 11 12 Wow that's remarkably stable yeah I'm picking out a 14 volts on
