hi everyone welcome to my channel this is an alternating pressure mattress and I'm getting ready to replace it because it's running a leak if you're taking care of someone that's spends a lot of time in bed it's it's really necessary to have one of these especially if they have type-2 diabetes or full-blown diabetes because you can get pressure ulcers or sores and they can really if they can really become really serious really quickly especially if you have type 2 or full-blown diabetes that the wound can just expand and almost like it feeds on itself so we first started using this about two and a half years ago we got a prescription for it and it was about a year and then the first mattress failed and this is the second mattress and it just failed about a week ago and I'm being proactive here I sort of dropped the ball and trying to get the insurance company get get everything in order
