Hey, I'm James Taylor with Taylor Crane & Rigging. We're going to show you how to use a two inch ratchet strap today, and how to secure your load to your trailer. You want your opening on your strap to be in the center so you can get your strap through it. It doesn't do you much good if it's pointing down like that. It makes it a real pain in the butt to use. A very important part to using these things, is keeping them lubed up. A little in there, you don't take much, and then all of a sudden these things work like brand-new now. Okay? So, that's very important, and makes life a lot easier. You're going to need your strap that goes with the (ratchet) strap. This is just a two inch load hugger. You want to throw it over whatever you are securing. Don't hit somebody in the head. Usually, you want to yell heads up, if you can't see on the other side of your truck. There's a lot of rumors a
