okay first and foremost any electrical that you do first and foremost disconnect the battery that's underneath the seat this way you don't short out any fuses in this system whatsoever because if you short out any of these fuses you're going to have a hard time replacing them so before you do any electrical work on this alternator or any electrical work always disconnect your battery first which is underneath the seat in the gl450 this is a gl450 eight cylinder v8 as you know and it's a 2010 the reason why i did this video was because there's not a lot of these on youtube so i just want to explain it to you that take a shot down inside the engine over here come around here in order to go down in there in order to get the alternator out you have to take the plastic skirt off from underneath so you can get from the underside this specific alternator i'm going to bring it out comes out thr
