Description
A quick, easy alternative to direct wiring when tapping the "hot side" of the fuse block.
The blade type fuse tap is made of sturdy brass and is engineered for quick connect and disconnect of accessories such as C.B. radios, hand-held lights, etc. Installation can be completed in three steps.
1. Use a test probe to locate the "hot side" of the circuit in the fuseblock. Then snap the tap over the corresponding "hot side" blade of the fuse. Insert the fuse into the fuseblock.
2. Crimp one end of an in-line fuse holder (with the fuse installed) to a fully insulated nylon .250" female quick-connect terminal. Attach the other fuse holder lead to the accessory wire.
3. Complete the connection by sliding the female quick-connect terminal onto the protruding tab of the tap.
