hello and welcome to two car pros today we're gonna be taking a look at how to install an aftermarket head unit in an f-150 from the Year 2005 we're gonna use an 8 millimeter wrench here so the very first thing we should do is undo the negative battery terminal cable that way we don't have any shorts when we're working on the stereo later on it's just a good safety measure I absolutely recommend it and when you're working anything on the batteries it's good idea to have gloves on because you never know what kind of battery acid could leak or corrosion you don't really want that on your skin let's move on ok so here is the center stack we need to remove this plastic trim piece I know it looks like wood on this truck but they're all plastic so we need to start by tugging on it very gently like that you want to pull straight out with it you don't want to try to pry it up and bend it I'm tr
