hello everyone today i'm going to show you how to program an rca tv remote i have two of them and i'm gonna program one of these remotes with my dvd or blu-ray i have a blu-ray disc right here and i'm gonna pair this remote with that disc as you can see the first thing to do is to remove one battery to reset your remote just to make sure there is no code already set so just press one remove one battery from your remote press number one for 20 seconds just to make sure your remote is is not already set up because if it's already set up it's not going to work press any number and hold for 20 seconds done so now put the battery back in the back cover and let's go so you have three components here so i already showed you in my previous video how to program this remote with your tv so if you're programming this remote with your tv you will have to press tv if it's a satellite receiver or ano
