[Music] [Music] hey youtubers my force with my corns channel thank you for watching today we're talking about electrical light switches and there is a difference between a single pole light switch and a 3-way light switch in this video we're gonna walk you through how to remove a 3-way switch and install a new 3-way switch let's do it step one safety first always cut all electrical power to that light switch in our case it is circuit breaker number 17 at this point let's go ahead and grab our flat-head screwdriver and remove both these screws and I guess we only have two so that's all we need to remove in your case if you have four remove all four so we can take this cover plate off after removing the screws the cover plate comes off very easy set that aside after the cover plate is removed this is a very important step we need to verify that electrical power is nowhere inside this box
