so what we're going to do to add a universal base knob to any amplifier as you pick one of these up basically as an input RCA is in an alpha RCA s so it allows you to control the level of the signal to the amplifier and the way you'd install it I picked up this three-foot RCA patch cable and for example in this application this is our RCA base output that goes to our amplifier and in the I want to be able to control the base and I don't have a knob so this is my output to my amp plug it into the output since it's going to the amp and then on this end is the input and this is the comes from your radio and this patch cable goes into your sub outputs on your radio so essentially what this does the signal comes out of the radio goes into our unit here we can adjust the level and that output goes to the amp so you can use this basically on any amplifier whether it has a bass knob function or
