thanks for joining us as we present more antenna solutions from mobile mark in this video we're gonna look at several different surface mount antennas that could be used for Wi-Fi applications the RM whf the DM 2400 5500 and the HD for 2400 all three antennas cover the entire Wi-Fi frequency bands of 2.4 and 5 gigahertz and they each have different advantages the rmw HF is the most broad banded of the three antennas it measures three inches tall by about one and a quarter inches in diameter and covers all frequencies from 1.7 to 6 gigahertz it meets tough industrial and military specs for shock and vibration and has water and dust ingress rating of ip67 the HD for 2400 is the shortest of the three antennas it measures only 3/5 of an inch in height and 2 and 3/4 inches in width this antenna is ideal for applications where an external surface mount antenna is needed but space is an issue
