hi I'm James and today this is something of a personal project I've been working on I received a water damaged MacBook Air and I've been working to get this going again but one thing that I didn't have for it was an original Apple SSD and so rather than fork out for one of those second hand off of ebay what I have here is something else I bought off of ebay which was significantly cheaper and which is a m2 converter for this generation of MacBook Air now this is the 2012 MacBook Air and these had a different SSD to previous models which was still SATA based but had a different connector and later models so this won't work for 2011 2013 or any other model of MacBook Air it's only for the 2012 and the adapter cost me the princely sum of three pound and three P so it is really quite low priced and this so we just take where we have the SSD and screw this down we then here have a little scr
