I'm Tom from do-it-yourself home automation and this is a simple way to make a DIY wall charger for your Fitbit flex so here I have the Flex itself this is the stock Flex USB charger so normally that would plug into your computer but what I want to do is use this to charge the Flex from a wall socket so what I have here is just a very basic AC adapter that takes that wall current and converts it to USB and this comes from an old cell phone so all I'm gonna have to do here is just plug this USB in so that's plugged in and then I'm gonna take this and put it into the charger just like I would normally so very simple now I'm just gonna take the whole assembly and I'm gonna plug it into my wall outlet down here and see the light on that charger comes on to indicate that it's working and I'm now charging my Fitbit flex right from the wall
