ah from weddings to birthday parties many of us memorable events from the last two decades have been captured on vhs but now these tapes are a dying breed and transferring precious moments to dvd is becoming more and more popular in fact some people essential tech expert chris abel joins us now to show how it's done can anybody do this uh yeah i think so far doesn't get to that point where anybody can do it okay it's time consuming it's tricky but it's not that bad it's not impossible what's the simplest way then to cover it well the simplest way uh without not even involving a computer at all yeah is to get a product like this this is a combination dvd and vhs recorder oh yeah so it's got the vhs drive on the right hand side and it's got this little dvd drive on the left hand side can you see so you get that there's the v vhs flap that's right and then right next to the dvd player both
