oh yeah I'm Brad I'm a member of the I ap and I'd like to talk to you about anodizing mainly because there's a lot of members on ia P nowadays which are turning out metal pens and other than what you can do with metal to make it a little bit more eye-catching other than polishing it it's really getting into surface finishing which really leaves you with powder coating or plating or anodizing so I'm just going to spend a bit of time talking to you about anodizing and how it's done and how to avoid pitfalls which I was doing all of the time when I first I have learning how to do it and first of all what is energizing well anodizing is a oxidized layer where you can build up on the surface of aluminium which you can then soak dye into the oxidized layer before sealing it which gives it color and to give you an idea if you turn an aluminium pen such as this one this is one of the first pens
