hey this is Gary Boss here with audio technica and marker tech here at the 2015 nab show and we are really really happy to be showcasing our 8080 24 DSLR microphone couple features about this and what really sets it apart number one this is a dual mode microphone meaning that we have either stereo or mono operation and that's very unique within this category so what that means is with one microphone which by the way is far superior to the internal microphone on those DSLRs you can shoot same mono for interviews you can get right in with your subject or if you do want something with more ambience like a sporting event you can switch it to that stereo mode and get the full stereo effect the other thing this has is a three-position attenuator so you have 0 minus 10 or minus 20 dB so if you're in very loud environments you can actually pad the microphone down it has a low frequency roll-off
