hi guys like it here from ebikes cool calm and welcome back to the five part series how to build your own lithium battery in part 5 today we're going to be talking about how to choose the right charger for your battery now there are two main aspects that you need to look at when you're choosing your Charter and that is the voltage and the current the first aspect is the folders so you want to make sure that you're choosing the appropriate voltage for your battery and the way you do that you multiply the number of cells that you have in your battery by 4.2 volts 4.2 volts if you fully charge voltage those cells so for example and the battery wheatbelt has ten cells we're going to multiply four point two by ten and that will give us 42 volts so we need a charger that outs of 42 volts and that's the same for any 36 volt battery based on lithium-ion cells now if you're working with lithium
