we're here at NAB 2015 in Las Vegas we just came back from the sweet Ronix booth and recently they sent me this new repaired a7s PowerTap cable which as you remember short-circuited in the sony a7s a couple of weeks ago so we're trying to pick me up and they said that they've never encountered that kind of malfunction before I'm about to test this repaired one it comes with a sticker here that says that it passed a bunch of different tests from the factory voltage test a surge tests runtime test and they repeated it and it passed the result is a brand new cable that well hopefully not short-circuit in the camera so we're gonna put the power tap cable in there we go that's locked in and then there's a little tab here that you lift up to run the cable through we put it in and we're gonna just lock it in place like I mentioned before the stock a 7 s battery is pretty dismal it doesn't last
