Directed Electronics 14220 DBS Combiner/Splitter Kit

[Applause] okay folks uh yesterday evening built this receiver uh antenna splitter using toroid um basically what you have here memory serves me right here um you have a primary coil on the toroid around the circumference of the toroid and then the secondary which would go to your antenna terminals and ground a 27 ohm resistor the ground basically all it is for your secondary is i'll show you right quick here's using two wires so uh i'll just do a demonstration right quick here basically you have two ores twisted together and you go around 25 turns around your toroid so then you're left with an open end here and your left one are open and here so basically what you have to do is at the end of your toroid what you would do is take a yellow wire and a blue wire you twist two of these together and you'd connect those to ground through 27 ohm resistor okay so basically there's your secondar
