[Music] hey guys Steve with rugged Raiders here Todd giving you guys a tech tip on our audio filter what we've done here is we've simulated a poor power supply to our intercom and what a poor power supply or a bad round or an indirect ground meaning not going direct to the battery can do is it can introduce electrical nodes into the intercom so what I'm gonna do now is I'm gonna turn the ignition and you guys are gonna hear really bad wine in the in the intercom body oh so you can see as soon as the electrical on the car starts turning on that fuel pump starts turning and it just sends a nasty whine right through the intercom now what we can do to cure that or mask them is install one of our audio filters what the audio filter does is it'll filter out a lot of that electrical noise it'll actually isolate the ground so that you're not looping all that ground through your intercom system
