hi Amos here when you hear the name ultrasound what comes to mind is it there s logic system which is supposed to give a surround sound effect to your ears or maybe it's the addition series with their exotic metals and expensive price tags either way ultrasound is something of a controversial company people seem to either love their headphones or be less enamored by them and I'd say I'm on the side of the less enamored I did try a couple of pairs of their addition series and I didn't find the sound quality to be up to the kind of standards I've expect however it was with interest that I saw the new ultrasound performance series at a recent Tokyo headphone festival and I decided to take a listen and what I heard was a little bit different to what I was used to with ultrasound the series itself consists of three new pairs of headphones ranging from about 400 dollars up to about $600 there
