[Music] good morning dave here and i want to talk to you about antennas for my airband radio this is an a yaesu airband radio pro x and i've been listening to it or attempting to listen to it here in my office for a while and i wasn't having much success however two steps out this door right here and i pick up all the air traffic in the world i live right between two airports and the aircraft actually come somewhat overhead and i wasn't getting any of the traffic so i suspected as you know a good ham operator would that the antenna was the culprit and this is the little uh rubber ducky antenna that comes with the radio and outside it works fine and it's bnc uh but i just wasn't having much luck in the house so i decided to try this diamond it's a sr877ca okay there's the package that that it comes in and this is what uh it looks like on the radio uh now i've had pretty good success um w
