in this video we're going to show you how to terminate leviton's quick port connector using a 110 punch down tool and a palm tool the next step is determining how you're going to wire the jack you have two options t568a and t568b on the palm termination tool we show B on the jack as well the sticker is showing B now you can peel off the sticker to reveal t568a if you choose to use that wiring code now we're going to use the jacket stripping tool to strip off the outer jacket of the cat5 or cat6 cable so put the jacket stripping tool on about an inch and a half or two inches back ring around once or twice and if you move the jacket back and forth a couple times it makes it easier to pull the strip portion off then you can flip out the exposed pairs and line them up for the jack termination so the first thing we want to do here is arrange the pair's according to the color code you've chos
