how's it going folks once again I'm your boy net from nest activist today we're checking out a 10 year old computer this is one of the first HP's that actually took on the name Compaq back in the day Compaq HP were different thing Compaq was a bad name HP was a good name then HP bought compact and then HP became the magnate so this is originally made for Windows XP Windows Vista compatible has a Pentium II and this is HP let's see let's see ok so it's a DC 7 6 0 ddr2 ram I'm kind of surprised to see that because the the DC 6000 and onward had ddr3 so I don't know why this one has ddr2 had original platter drive of course I upgraded that to an older kingston SSD got 4 gigs of ram in there had to clean out the fan had to switch to another power supply but ultimately what i'm doing here is i want to see how does a 10 year old system stack up against a cheap new one so a lot of things have
