[Music] hello and welcome my name is lana glosha and in this video i'm going to show you how i blend my colored pencils with odorless mineral spirits or oms and how i add highlights with a combination of brush and pencil dot com's titanium white and touch-up texture the surface that i'm using for this piece is a five by seven inch artifacts panel called a charter panel this is my first time using this surface and i really enjoyed it it's cool because it's an aluminum composite material with a piece of strathmore 400 series paper mounted on the top and this combination completely replaces a drawing board so i just have this little piece and it can be very portable and i can take it around with me it's also completely archival so it is ready to glaze and frame and doesn't require any other steps in terms of preserving and presenting and selling your work the surface that i'm using for thi
