Clear Tar Gel is unique because of its stringy quality something we refer to as "long rheology" it is a tendency for the product to hold together as it drips rather than break off, allowing you to create lines varying from thick to very thin. To demonstrate this we'll compare Clear Tar Gel to Polymer Medium, Clear Tar Gel is noticeably thicker than Polymer Medium, but you'll also see as it drips the Polymer Medium breaks off into droplets while Clear Tar Gel makes a long stringy flow like all GOLDEN acrylic mediums Clear Tar Gel can be mixed with acrylic colors -- here we're using a little Fluid Ultramarine Blue. When mixing in a jar, we recommend folding the color slowly from the bottom up.
