This repair kit supplies the capacitors needed to repair the power supply board inside a LG 42LB1DR LCD monitor. This repair kit is for the power supply board pictured above. Please verify that the power supply board inside your LCD monitor or TV matches this power supply board before ordering!

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors

- Flickering screen

- Screen image disappears after several seconds

- Dim screen

- Slow start

- Power LED on, but no picture

- Unusual colors and/or lines

The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.

If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.

New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.

We only use the highest quality Panasonic, Nichicon and Rubycon capacitors in our repair kits.

This LG 42LB1DR LCD monitor repair kit contains 16 capacitors needed to repair the power supply board inside your LG 42LB1DR LCD monitor. This kit does not include the large 400-450v capacitor, that capacitor may be purchased separately.

so the other day I found this 22 inch LCD monitor in the trash so I brought it home and I figured I would see if I could figure out what's wrong with it basically what happens is that when you power this thing on the backlight for it doesn't stay on for very long it'll display an image and then it'll just shut off nine times out of ten the cause behind that is something simple like bad capacitors on the power board so I'm just going to show you how to go ahead and and replace those the first thing to do is to go and remove all the stand hardware now most of these monitors just snap together for the case so you have to be a little bit careful when doing this as you might damage the case but basically just have to get a screwdriver in there and disengage the plastic snaps and just work your way around the case until the whole thing is free now the thing that you're probably gonna have to
