when I first bought the Sony a7 three one of the very first accessories that I bought to go with it was this the mica Mecca weak battery grip however you pronounce it I didn't buy the genuine Sony battery grip because realistically I knew this wasn't going to be getting used all that often really I didn't want this as a way of carrying an extra battery I wanted this as a grip extension really I knew I was only going to need this to go alongside my 100 to 400 G master lens because while a lot of people will say that the grip on the Sony's are too small they're uncomfortable I personally haven't found an issue with them for the most part most of the lenses that I have are relatively small and relatively light and I found that the a7 3 is still a pretty comfortable camera to hold even using the 70 to 200 f/4g lens I don't have a problem realistically I don't have a huge problem using this
