how's it going everyone Justin from amplified parts here again today we're going to talk about knobs and potentiometers and how they work together we're going to show you the three main different types of knob and different type of pop and so between those three you should have what you need to kind of fit your amp or your knob situation etc the first two that we're going to talk about they're going to be the most common ones you're going to find in your amps your guitars etc first of those is going to be the solid shaft pot as you can see the shaft is solid it's not splined or anything doesn't have a split there's nothing about it that is not solid so the best kind of knob to use for those is gonna be your knob with a set screw so you got a little set screw there and the inside is smooth that's gonna work the best some people will try and put them you can try and put a set screw knob o
