with the G3 Dome's results. We've been putting 'em in
professionally for years, and they've been doing an adequate job, but when we put them all side by side, its shortcomings were quite obvious. So I was really excited to get the new UniFi Protect G4 Dome in to test. I have to say, at first
glance, it's a big step up. It's a 4-megapixel sensor, it's a new metal IPx4
weatherproof enclosure, it's got a built-in
microphone and speakers. It's a much smaller camera and it's a much more
discreet-looking enclosure. It comes in at $179
versus the $149 G3 Dome, $199 G3 Micro, and the $79
