so in this video I'm going to show you how to set your display resolution on your recorder if you've purchased a recorder and doesn't work on the monitor you initially plugged into that means your monitor is not supporting the resolution being output from the recorder in order to get into the recorder and change its resolution you need to have either a 1080p TV or a 4k TV depending on the model of the recorder it may output 1080p or 4k your best bet is to use at least a 1080p TV and the first thing you do in order to change the display resolution is login to your recorder granted you've connected the recorder to the TV and now you can actually see this menu with a grid so the first thing you do is you log in put in your graphical password a graphical password is stated on the label on the top front of the recorder once you're there hit system go to display and this is the setting here f
