hi guys and welcome back to the channel so as you can see today we're going to talk about capacitors I have a bunch right here some are very cheap others quite expensive but first of all I wanted to test the myth according to which the paper in oil capacitors sound better I read on the internet they tend to have a warmer sound compared to the polyester ones so I just went ahead and bought a bunch of them and we're basically going to test two different values for the standard ones you can find them base 47 and 100 nanofarads and to do that I'm going to use this breadboard which will be connected to my instruments on one Jack and to my audio interface on the others so I can use this just to plug plug in each capacitor easily without doing any soldering and on soldiering be reminded these capacitors have a tolerance so sometimes the value is not exactly as declared sometimes it's slightly
