so what happens if a window in your home is broken and what can you do to get an alert if it's broken so if there's a couple of different products out there that you can buy to to give you an alert if someone's either tampering with one of your windows or if they just straight up break your window there's things called glass break sensors and there's basically two types there's a battery-powered glass sensor which usually attaches to the window if the window vibrates the sensor will set off is just a mini like a high-pitched squeal and there's a second type that is a it's an acoustic glass-break sensor and the what it does is it listens for basically for glass to break and then it sets off acoustic glass-break sensors are usually tied into home alarms but there's some ways that you can set them up without a home alarm and I'll cover one of the ways in just a few minutes in the video but
