The Nikkor AF-S 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR, is a standard-zoom lens made for Nikon’s full-frame FX cameras. Introduced in 2012 around the same time as the low-cost full-frame D600 DSLR, it sits on the lower end of Nikkor’s zoom lineup, delivering entry-level build quality, operation and optics; all for a fair price.
