This repair kit supplies the capacitors needed to repair the power supply board inside a Akai LCT3785TA, LCD TV. This repair kit is for the power supply board pictured above. Please verify that the power supply board inside your LCD monitor or TV matches this power supply board before ordering!

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors

- Flickering screen

- Screen image disappears after several seconds

- Dim screen

- Slow start

- Power LED on, but no picture

- Unusual colors and/or lines

The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.

If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.

New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.

We only use the highest quality Panasonic, Nichicon and Rubycon capacitors in our repair kits.

This Akai LCT3785TA, LCD TV repair kit contains 21 capacitors needed to repair the power supply board inside your Akai LCT3785TA, LCD TV. This kit does not include the large 400-450v capacitor, that capacitor may be purchased separately.

okay now remove the back of the TV this is kind of what it looks like here is the power supply okay and we're gonna take the power supply off the board take it downstairs for repair it's always a really good idea to make sure you get good pictures and look where all your plugs are right there you have the power wire and the ground flip and a ground wire over here you have one two three four plugs and looks like actually there's a fifth one underneath there make sure you get this take them all back in the right place this is my new soldering tool what it does is when you push this button that shoots out and cause the suction actually sucks a little ball of solder right up inside the right here it'll suck the Sun right off that joint I'm going to try to do this one-handed so I got I'll hold the phone with one hand see that doesn't sexist but kind of off it right off there oh my good they'
