Cat6 patch panels are network equipment which allow you to organize, route, and identify network cables. They connect incoming and outgoing lines. They can accept up to 12, 24, or 48, or 96 lines depending upon which model you choose. They are rated for Cat6 networking speeds, UL approved and can handle data or voice transmissions. This is the 96 port cat6 patch panel. It accepts up to 96 lines. It fits on standard 19 inch rack equipment or wall brackets. On the front of the panel you'll notice that each port is numbered and contains a label. This allows you to easily identify lines and equipment. The rear of the panel has 110 style punch down terminators. This allows you to connect your bulk cable by punching down the lines. There's also a printed color code on the back to help you punch down your cable in the correct order. Finally, numeric labels help match the right port on the back
