[Music] hello and welcome to this amcrest support video today we're going to show you how to minimize the chance of infrared light reflection into the lens of your amcrest vandal dome camera which can affect the camera's output image there are many possible reasons that cause infrared reflection including losing contact between the foam gasket ring and the dome cover nearby barriers and the environment that reflect infrared light outdoor elements such as dust wetness or moisture on the plastic dome cover or possible internal damage to the lens which may need replacement the most severe case of infrared reflection is caused by the foam gasket ring not being firmly pressed against the camera dome this will create a halo effect removing the foam gasket altogether will produce an image that may be unrecognizable to reduce the chance of infrared light reflection into the lens please make sur
